The Nigerian American Mothers for Youth Advancement USA (NAMYAUSA) hosts yearly activities inspired by our collective efforts to promote family values, encourage women, and empower the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow.
The Nigerian American Mothers for Youth Advancement USA (NAMYAUSA) hosts yearly activities inspired by our collective efforts to promote family values, encourage women, and empower the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow. Consequently, we are exposed to budgetary shortfalls due to the capital-intensive nature of these activities. Unfortunately, our sources of revenue are very limited. Despite our limited resources we always strive to accomplish our goals because we believe that no sacrifice is too big when investing in our people, especially our youths.
Our revenue comes solely from NAMYAUSA Mother’s Day Gala which includes gate fees, raffle tickets, advertisements and magazine sales. The proceeds from these sources are insufficient. In our effort to mitigate budgetary shortfalls, a fundraising committee was formed, which is charged with finding ways to raise funds to fulfil these goals. NAMYAUSA in collaboration with the fundraising committee has developed strategies to help our organization survive and meet our financial challenges. These activities include appealing to our supporters through our website to help in any way possible, by purchasing our gate tickets to attend our ceremonies, and/or donating the tickets to others who cannot afford to attend. We encourage people to advertise their businesses and ceremonies in our magazines, sponsor certain Ads in the magazine, purchase NAMYAUSA’s or NAYA’s raffle tickets, or donate the prizes to be raffled out.
Education is the bedrock of our organization, so we seek to promote it. We want to encourage our children to not only embrace education, but also to excel in it. We also want to persuade our youths to embrace our cultural and moral values. These noble aspirations will not happen unless we develop a sustainable mechanism that will help us recruit youths endowed with talents in need of help. NAMYAUSA and our fundraising committee humbly request you to donate money to sponsor the young adult organization (NAYA). You can also donate money designated for a specified youth’s education, talent, or career empowerment, and/or set up a trust fund for the young adults per your specifications.
We all know that no organization succeeds without money. Good and laudable goals and objectives cannot be accomplished without the requisite finances to execute them. This is why we are appealing to you to help make our dreams come true. We need your assistance. Together, we can make our families and communities better.
