Event Committee

NAMYAUSA, Inc is privileged to have vibrant and goal-oriented beautiful women who plan our popular Mother’s Day Gala yearly.

As specified in the duly enacted bylaws of NAMYAUSA, the Event Committee is led by a Chair appointed every 2 years.  The Event Chair oversees the functions and actions of the committee by majority vote as specified in the by-laws.

In addition, the Event committee has subcommittees that oversee advertisement in our yearly journal, the gate & raffle tickets sales, and other duties as deemed necessary by the members.

All the decisions of all the committees including the Event are brought to the general membership for ratification and approval.

The duties of the event committee during all NAMYAUSA meetings and galas include:

  • Search and booking of the venues
  • Planning and selection of menu
  • Search and selection of DJ and Master of Ceremony
  • Selection of entertainers, special guest of honors, and award recipients
  • Program of event and protocol for presentation of members
  • Solicitation of advertisement and production of magazine
  • Production and distribution of the flyers, postcards, gate & raffle tickets
  • Arrangement of the hall and seat assignments

The Event Chair works with the Chairwoman, Fundraising chair, Publicity secretary, MC and DJ during NAMYAUSA’s Mother’s Day Gala for an efficient and effective event.

Therefore, the Event Chair and her committee members are an integral part of NAMYAUSA who work hard to keep the members beautiful and elegant during her functions.
