Nigerian American Mothers for Youth Advancement (NAMYAUSA) is soliciting advertisements for our Mother’s Day weekend fund-raising event in our brochure and our website, www.namyausa.org. The funds raised will benefit and nurture our young adult organization: Nigerian American Young Adult (NAYAUSA).
These are ladies who believe strongly in teamwork exemplified through service for family and community NAMYAUSA invests in the development of the Nigerian Youths to enable them to build long-lasting relationships self-reliance and community leadership. The multicultural nature of the American society poses a challenge for our youths, If our youths are not properly grounded, the conflicting and competing voices they are exposed to can make them forget their genuine African heritage and culture. Our mission is to help them become a balanced embodiment of both African and American cultural values. As Kwame Nkrumah pointed out, I am an African not because I was born in Africa, but because the spirit of Africa lives in me.
We hope you can support our effort by choosing to advertise in our brochure. “As you know, it takes a village to raise a child”
